We're recruiting a Valuation Senior Manager on behalf of a highly respected and growing accountancy and business advisory firm in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced valuation professional to join a specialist team delivering independent, commercially focused valuation advice to a broad range of clients, from owner-managed businesses to multinational organisations.

This role is ideal for an established Valuation Senior Manager or an experienced Valuation Manager ready to take the next step into a leadership position with greater client ownership, business development responsibility, and strategic influence.

The Role

As a Valuation Senior Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio of valuation engagements, working closely with Partners and Directors to deliver high-quality advice across a broad range of accounting, tax, commercial, and forensic assignments.

You will oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring clients receive technically robust, commercially focused advice tailored to their specific objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing complex business and share valuation engagements from planning through to completion
  • Delivering valuations for financial reporting, tax, share schemes, commercial transactions, and dispute resolution
  • Preparing and reviewing detailed valuation reports for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Applying a range of valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiples, option pricing models, and intangible asset valuations
  • Interpreting financial information and assessing key value drivers across a variety of industries
  • Providing technical input and challenge on complex engagements
  • Undertaking valuation research and sharing technical developments with the wider team
  • Managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact throughout engagements
  • Ensuring risk management procedures and client acceptance processes are followed
  • Supporting Partners with complex advisory assignments and strategic projects

Alongside your client responsibilities, you will play a key role in the continued growth of the Valuation Services team. You will mentor and develop junior colleagues, contribute to appraisals and technical training, and help shape the future direction of the department.

You will also support business development through networking, delivering seminars, producing thought leadership content, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships.

About You

You will be ACA, CFA or similarly professionally qualified, with significant valuation experience gained within a professional services environment.

You'll possess strong technical expertise across a broad range of valuation methodologies and be confident managing client relationships while delivering commercially focused advice.

You'll demonstrate:

  • ACA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Significant business valuation experience within professional services
  • Strong technical knowledge of discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiples, option pricing models, and intangible asset valuations
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and value drivers
  • Experience managing complex valuation engagements from start to finish
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong communication and client relationship management abilities
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to business development

You are analytical, commercially minded, and collaborative, with a passion for delivering high-quality valuation advice and building long-term client relationships.
