We are recruiting a US Tax Senior to join a growing and highly regarded international private client tax team based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced US tax professional to work with a diverse portfolio of US-connected clients, combining compliance responsibilities with advisory work and strong client relationship management.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of US tax matters across individuals, owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and corporate clients within a collaborative and technically strong environment.
The Role
As a US Tax Senior, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of a portfolio of US-connected clients, supporting both compliance delivery and advisory projects.
You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing US tax returns while ensuring compliance obligations are completed accurately and within deadlines.
The role will involve supporting clients across a variety of US tax matters, including personal tax, owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and corporate tax issues, depending on your experience and areas of expertise.
You will work closely with Managers and Directors on more complex advisory assignments, providing proactive and commercially focused tax advice while helping clients navigate evolving US tax requirements.
Alongside technical responsibilities, you will build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and delivering a high level of client service across a varied portfolio.
You will also collaborate with colleagues across the wider tax team while supporting the development of junior team members through coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance where appropriate.

About You
You will have strong experience gained within a US tax environment, ideally within an accountancy practice or specialist tax advisory firm.
US Enrolled Agent (EA) qualification is preferred but not essential.
You will possess strong technical knowledge across US tax compliance and advisory work, with exposure to areas such as US personal tax, owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and/or corporate tax matters.
A broad understanding of US tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements is essential.
You will be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach will be key to success in this role.
