We're recruiting a US Corporate Tax Senior Manager for a growing accountancy practice in London.

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced US Corporate Tax professional to lead complex compliance and advisory assignments, manage key multinational clients and support the continued growth of the US Tax offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex US corporate tax compliance and advisory assignments
  • Manage and review US federal and state corporate tax returns
  • Provide technical advice on cross-border tax and international tax
  • Advise on transfer pricing, repatriation strategies and BEPS-related matters
  • Oversee ASC 740 tax accounting and US GAAP requirements
  • Lead client support during US tax audits and liaise with the IRS and state authorities
  • Advise on foreign information reporting, including Forms 8858, 5471 and 8865
  • Work closely with UK corporate tax, international tax and transfer pricing specialists
  • Develop existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Support proposals, pitches and wider US Tax business development
  • Lead, mentor and develop Managers, Seniors and junior team members
  • Maintain strong technical and risk management standards
  • Keep clients and colleagues informed of significant US tax developments

About You

  • US CPA, Enrolled Agent or JD qualified / near qualification
  • 3–6 years' post-qualified experience in US corporate tax
  • Strong experience gained within a mid-tier or top-tier accountancy firm
  • Previous experience as a designated signer for US tax returns
  • Deep knowledge of US federal and state corporate tax
  • Experience dealing directly with the IRS
  • Strong understanding of ASC 740 and US GAAP
  • Knowledge of international tax, double tax treaties and OECD guidelines
  • Familiarity with Forms 8858, 5471 and 8865 advantageous
  • Proven experience managing complex multinational client assignments
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven business development and client relationship experience
  • Commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused
