We're recruiting a US Corporate Tax Manager for a growing accountancy practice in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced US Corporate Tax professional to manage a portfolio of internationally connected clients, delivering high-quality US tax compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage US corporate tax compliance and advisory assignments
  • Prepare and review US federal and state corporate tax returns
  • Provide technical advice on US and UK cross-border tax matters
  • Advise on transfer pricing, repatriation and international tax issues
  • Support clients with US tax audits and liaise with the IRS and state authorities
  • Assist with ASC 740 tax accounting and US GAAP reporting
  • Review US foreign information returns, including Forms 8858, 5471 and 8865
  • Work closely with UK corporate tax and international tax specialists
  • Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
  • Review work and support the development of junior team members
  • Keep up to date with US tax legislation and communicate changes to clients

About You

  • US CPA, Enrolled Agent or JD qualified / near qualification
  • 3–6 years' experience in US corporate tax
  • Experience within a professional accountancy or tax practice
  • Experience acting as a designated signer for US tax returns
  • Strong knowledge of US federal and state corporate taxation
  • Experience dealing with the IRS
  • Knowledge of US foreign informational filings advantageous
  • Understanding of ASC 740 and US GAAP
  • Good knowledge of international tax and cross-border issues
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
