We're recruiting an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join a growing Personal Tax team in Bristol.

This is a primarily compliance-focused role, managing a portfolio of private clients and ensuring their tax affairs are handled accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. You'll work closely with Partners, Directors and colleagues while building strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private client tax compliance work
• Review personal tax returns for accuracy and technical quality
• Act as a key point of contact for clients
• Ensure tax deadlines are met and work is delivered efficiently
• Support and mentor trainees and junior members of the team
• Work closely with Partners, Directors and the wider Personal Tax team
• Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and client service
• Assist with occasional personal tax advisory work where appropriate

About You

• ATT and/or CTA qualified
• Previous experience at Manager level within Private Client or Personal Tax
• Strong personal tax compliance experience
• Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Confident reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
• Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
• Professional, organised and commercially aware
• Collaborative team player with a commitment to quality
