Job Summary
We are seeking a Private Client Tax Director in Swindon to lead a portfolio of high net worth individuals, families, and family offices. This role combines strategic tax advisory, client relationship management, and team leadership, with responsibility for complex personal, trust, and corporation tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver private client tax services, including IHT, CGT, trusts, residence and domicile, and family investment company planning
- Act as the lead adviser for high net worth clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant advice
- Identify and advise on tax implications for landowners, rural businesses, and related services
- Lead ad-hoc advisory projects and provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Support business development, generating new client opportunities and expanding professional networks
- Mentor and coach team members, reviewing work and promoting professional development
About You
- Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with extensive private client experience
- Strong track record in wealth planning and high net worth client management
- Excellent knowledge of UK personal and international tax legislation
- Commercially aware, proactive, and capable of generating your own client portfolio
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
