Job Summary
We are seeking a Private Client Tax Director in Chippenham to lead a portfolio of high net worth individuals, families, and family offices. This role focuses on strategic tax advisory, client relationship management, and team leadership, handling complex personal, trust, and corporation tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead private client tax planning, including Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), trusts, residence and domicile planning
- Act as primary adviser for high net worth clients and family offices
- Provide guidance on tax matters for landowners, rural businesses, and related sectors
- Manage ad-hoc advisory projects and oversee junior team members
- Identify new business opportunities and support business development initiatives
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members
About You
- Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with extensive private client experience
- Strong expertise in wealth planning and high net worth client management
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK personal and international tax legislation
- Commercially minded, proactive, and able to grow your own client portfolio
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
