Job Summary
We are seeking a Personal Tax Director in Taunton to manage a portfolio of high net worth individuals, families, and family offices. The role includes strategic tax advisory, personal tax compliance, and leadership of a specialist team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level personal tax planning: Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), trusts, residence, and domicile issues
- Advise family offices and landed estates on wealth planning and succession strategies
- Lead, mentor, and review the work of junior and senior tax professionals
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and business
- Provide proactive solutions for complex personal and cross-border tax matters
About You
- Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with substantial personal tax experience
- Proven experience with high net worth clients and family offices
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK personal and international tax legislation
- Commercially minded and able to manage your own portfolio
