This role is ideal for an established Not For Profit Tax Senior Manager or an experienced Tax Manager looking to progress their career with increased advisory responsibility, client ownership, and leadership opportunities.

The Role

As a Not For Profit Tax Senior Manager, you will lead the delivery of specialist tax advisory and compliance services to a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients, acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and supporting the continued growth of the specialist tax offering.

Working closely with Tax Partners and Not For Profit specialists, you will provide practical, commercially focused advice across a range of complex tax matters, helping organisations navigate the unique challenges of the sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance on Gift Aid, non-charitable expenditure, and mutual trading matters
  • Advising on property transactions, restructurings, and structuring of non-exempt activities
  • Supporting technical queries from wider practice teams
  • Reviewing tax computations and ensuring technical accuracy across client assignments
  • Acting as a key point of contact for trustees, finance teams, senior stakeholders, and professional advisers
  • Managing client deadlines, budgets, and delivery of engagements
  • Identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory support and contribute to business development activities

Alongside client delivery, you will play an important role in developing the wider team by mentoring junior colleagues, providing technical training, supporting performance development, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

You will also contribute to the firm’s profile within the sector through networking, seminars, technical updates, and thought leadership.

About You

You will be CTA and/or ATT qualified (or possess equivalent experience) with strong experience in Not For Profit Tax gained within a UK accountancy practice or professional services environment.

You will have a proven track record of advising charities and not-for-profit organisations, with the ability to deliver technically complex advice in a clear and commercially focused manner.

You’ll demonstrate:

  • CTA and/or ATT qualification (preferred)
