We're recruiting a Mixed Tax Senior Manager for a leading accountancy practice in Dundee.
This is a senior, client-facing opportunity for an experienced tax adviser with strong knowledge across both corporate and personal tax. You'll manage key client relationships, lead complex tax advisory projects and support the development of a growing tax team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of SME, owner-managed business and HNW clients
- Provide clear, commercially focused corporate and personal tax advice
- Manage and review complex corporation tax returns, including groups
- Advise on corporate reorganisations, EMI schemes and tax planning
- Advise business owners on remuneration, profit extraction and succession planning
- Provide CGT and IHT planning to business owners and private clients
- Advise on management buyouts and key stages of the business lifecycle
- Lead specialist tax advisory projects across a range of sectors
- Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
- Work closely with Accounts, Audit and Business Services teams
- Identify opportunities for additional advisory services and business development
- Line manage, mentor and develop junior tax professionals
- Review work and provide technical guidance and feedback
About You
- Significant experience advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate and personal tax
- Proven experience delivering tax advisory and planning projects
- CTA qualified advantageous, but not essential
- Experience with CGT, IHT, remuneration and succession planning
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Able to manage multiple clients, projects and deadlines effectively
