Job Summary
We are recruiting a Mixed Tax Manager in London to provide advisory and compliance services to owner-managed businesses (OMBs) and family businesses. This client-facing role offers exposure to all stages of the business lifecycle, delivering bespoke tax advice across corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, VAT, and SDLT.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of holistic tax advice for OMBs and family business clients
- Prepare and review technical tax analysis, valuations, and HMRC submissions
- Advise on business reorganisations, share buy-backs, EMI/growth share schemes, and tax reliefs (EIS/SEIS)
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work for accuracy
- Support compliance work: corporation tax returns, annual computations, and technical queries
- Assist partners with client pitches and business development initiatives
About You
- ACA/ACCA and CTA/ATT qualified (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience advising owner-managed and family businesses
- Strong knowledge across UK taxes and accountancy principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, proactive, and client-focused
- Experienced in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
- Ability to deliver work to agreed timescales and budgets
