We're recruiting an experienced Corporation Tax Manager to join a highly experienced Corporate Tax team with offices across the region.
This is a varied, client-facing role managing a portfolio of predominantly owner-managed businesses, combining corporate tax compliance with opportunities to identify and support wider advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of around 100 corporate clients, predominantly OMBs
- Oversee corporate tax compliance and liaise with Audit teams where required
- Identify opportunities across R&D, capital allowances, structuring and succession planning
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact
- Manage WIP, billing and fee discussions
- Support the day-to-day management of the Corporate Tax team
- Mentor and develop junior tax professionals
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across Corporate Finance and Financial Planning
- Support business development, networking and thought leadership
- Assist with tax advisory assignments where appropriate
About You
- ACA and/or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong UK corporate tax knowledge and practice experience
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio
- Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing junior team members
- Broader tax knowledge would be advantageous
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service
