We're recruiting a Corporate Finance Executive for a growing accountancy practice in Newcastle.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA-qualified accountant with strong financial analysis skills who is looking to build a career in Corporate Finance, M&A and Lead Advisory.

You'll work alongside experienced Partners and Managers on a varied range of transactions, supporting entrepreneurial clients through acquisitions, disposals, fundraising and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support corporate finance transactions from inception through to completion
• Work on buy-side and sell-side advisory assignments
• Support fundraising and growth capital transactions
• Prepare company valuations and financial analysis
• Build and develop detailed financial models in Excel
• Conduct transaction, sector and market research
• Analyse financial and commercial information
• Assist with client presentations and pitch meetings
• Build strong relationships with clients and professional advisers
• Support Partners and Managers with project delivery
• Work collaboratively across the wider accountancy practice

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in corporate finance, transaction services, audit or accountancy practice
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good understanding of M&A and corporate finance transactions
• Confident presenting financial information and findings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive, ambitious and keen to develop
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
