We're recruiting an Audit Senior for a growing accountancy practice in Tamworth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified accountant with UK practice experience who is looking to progress their audit career.
You'll work across a varied portfolio of clients, supporting audits from planning through to completion, while developing your technical, client management and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Carry out audit fieldwork, testing and analytical review
- Ensure audit work meets professional and regulatory standards
- Review junior team members' work and provide guidance and support
- Identify and communicate audit risks, findings and recommendations
- Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
- Work collaboratively with accounts, tax and other service lines
- Manage workloads and meet audit deadlines
- Continue developing technical knowledge across UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing completion
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong audit and accounts experience
- Good understanding of audit procedures, risk and controls
- Knowledge of FRS 102 and/or IFRS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
- CaseWare and CCH experience advantageous
- Professional, organised and keen to progress
