I am working with a well-established accountancy practice in Basingstoke to recruit an Audit Senior as part of continued growth within their Audit team.
This role offers hands-on responsibility across a varied audit portfolio, client exposure, and a clear pathway for progression within practice.
The Role
- Planning, leading and delivering audit assignments from start to completion
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Preparing statutory accounts and audit files in line with UK standards
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients during audits
- Liaising with managers and partners to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Supporting the development and training of junior staff
Candidate Profile
- ACA / ACCA qualified or actively studying
- Previous UK audit experience within an accountancy practice (essential)
- Experience leading audits on-site or remotely
- Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
