We're recruiting an experienced Audit Senior to join a growing accountancy practice in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with proven external audit experience who is looking to take ownership of assignments, develop strong client relationships and progress towards Audit Manager and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Lead audits across a varied portfolio of clients
- Supervise, delegate to and mentor junior team members
- Perform analytical reviews of financial statements and identify audit issues
- Prepare statutory accounts and draft tax computations
- Apply Inflo audit methodology throughout engagements
- Monitor assignment progress, budgets and deadlines
- Resolve technical and client issues during audits
- Prepare audit files for Manager and Partner review
- Build strong and lasting client relationships
- Communicate proactively with clients and provide commercially focused recommendations
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Proven external audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
- Good understanding of corporation tax, VAT and P11Ds
- Experience with consolidations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Confident managing multiple assignments and competing deadlines
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Working knowledge of Inflo advantageous
- Commercially aware, proactive and keen to progress
