We're recruiting an Audit Senior for a growing accountancy practice in Halesowen.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified accountant with UK practice experience who is looking to take the next step in their audit career.
You'll work across a varied portfolio of clients, supporting audits from planning through to completion while developing your technical, client management and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Carry out audit fieldwork, testing and analytical review
- Ensure audit work meets professional and regulatory standards
- Review elements of junior team members' work and provide support and guidance
- Assist with identifying audit risks, findings and recommendations
- Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
- Work collaboratively with tax, accounts and other service lines
- Manage your workload and meet audit deadlines
- Continue developing technical knowledge across UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing completion
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong audit and accounts experience
- Good understanding of audit procedures, risk and controls
- Knowledge of FRS 102 and/or IFRS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Confident supporting and mentoring junior staff
- CaseWare and CCH experience advantageous
- Professional, organised and keen to progress
