We're recruiting an Audit Semi Senior for a growing accountancy practice in Solihull.
This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with UK practice experience who is looking to progress their audit career.
You'll gain hands-on experience across audit planning, fieldwork, testing and statutory accounts, working with a varied client portfolio and developing your technical and client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, execution and completion of statutory audits
- Carry out audit fieldwork, including controls testing, substantive testing and analytical review
- Prepare high-quality audit working papers and files
- Build strong relationships with clients throughout the audit process
- Work closely with Audit Seniors and Managers
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Manage multiple audit assignments and meet deadlines
- Ensure audits comply with relevant standards and firm procedures
About You
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience
- Experience in audit and assurance
- Good understanding of statutory audit procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with good client-facing skills
- Able to manage multiple deadlines
- Professional, proactive and keen to progress your career
