Job Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Senior in Taunton to prepare management and year-end accounts, tax computations, and supporting schedules. This client-facing role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio, mentoring opportunities for junior staff, and the chance to identify business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts, year-end accounts, and tax computations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Deliver accurate outputs on time and within budget
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on technical matters
- Identify opportunities to support clients and contribute to business growth
- Promote continuous learning and development across the team

- ACA/ACCA qualified (or working towards)
- Proactive, client-focused, and highly organised
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Collaborative team player, supporting and mentoring colleagues
- Commercially aware with an interest in client growth
